Characteristics
It consists of 4 walls.
Front Wall - 3 plates. Each plate weighs between 20-25 Kgs.
Back Wall - 3 plates including door for entry.
Side Wall (Right & Left) - 6 plates (3 on each side). Each plate weighs between 20-25 Kgs.
Floor - 2 mild steel plates.
Each wall has firing slot. Firing is done in crouch as well as standing position.
Roof - Flat roof with 2 plates to protect the sentries from rain and snow or inverted 'V' Shape.
The Sentry post is assembled with nuts & bolts, hence, it is retrievable.
Total weight approx. 855 Kgs.
Protection Level: All round protection against SLR 7.62 from a distance of 10 meters.
